Es geschieht nicht alle Tage, dass in unserer Redaktion Post direkt aus Übersee reinflattert. Ein Grund mehr dem Album von Jair Dynast etwas Zeit zu widmen. Eigentlich wäre ihm eine Karriere als NBA-Spieler offen gestanden, als dieser Traum jedoch platzte war er immer mehr am Mic und im Studio anzutreffen. Nachdem seine erste Single bereits für aufsehen sorgte erscheint nun mit „V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E.“ sein erstes Album, auf welchem er auch alle Songs im Alleingang produziert hat. Jair Dynast bezeichnet sich selber als Street Poet, welcher mit seinen Texten auch immer wieder auf soziale Missstände hindeutet. Mit seinen Texten will er den Leuten wieder Inhalt zurückbringen, so wie er es liebte, als er HipHop für sich entdeckte. Mit „V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E.“ liefert Jair Dynast auf Toronto einen sehr ambitionierten Erstling ab, welcher in der Schweiz wohl nicht leicht zu finden sein wird, aber definitiv eine Chance verdient hat. Jair Dynast's single "VICIOUS" holds the top spot this week over The Butta Team's "Welcome 2 Durham" which features Little Brother (ABB/Atlantic Records) and Hip-Hop Legend Big Daddy Kane with production by 9th Wonder. "VICIOUS" also betters Talib Kweli's (Blacksmith/Warner Bros. Records) lead single "Listen".

The editors over at the Rap and Skateboarding magazine, Skater Rap, got their hands on an advanced copy of Jair Dynast’s new buzz 12 inch “Vicious” b/w “Pull Up” and were so thoroughly impressed with the producer/lyricists skills on “Vicious” they saw fit to feature the song as an exclusive audio stream in their “Buzz Joint Section”. Jair Dynast’s single is featured amongst artist like Saigon, Lupe Fiasco, Brother Ali and Gnarls Barkley.

You asked Jair Dynast for more and he delivers!
Immersed in the culture of Hip Hop since early childhood, Jair Dynast, "One whom God
Enlightened, Ruler of a Dynasty", never knew he had found his life's passion. A
prolific street poet, Jair speaks to "real life issues" with raw uncut passion
through his thought provoking metaphors and similes. He writes emotionally driven,
social commentary befitting the early days of our culture overshadowed only by his
epic hard hitting beats. Jair Dynast combines an inner city upbringing and his
Caribbean heritage with his category defying production. His music brings a breath
of fresh air to Hip Hop while tackling the issues of poverty and violence affecting
our inner cities.
Building on the success of his debut single, which peaked at #4 on the Top 30, Jair
was given an opportunity to introduce "Vicious" and "Pull Up" from his forthcoming
solo debut album, V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E. at CMJ25 Music Marathon Showcase in NYC.
Performing in September 2005 at the Bowery Poetry Club in Manhattan, to a sizeable
crowd, he was very well received. Jair Dynast's new singles, "Vicious" and "Pull
Up" are the setup joints for the album, V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E. scheduled for release later in 2006.
One of the songs on Jair Dynast's new solo album, V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E is the theme song
for the new 13-part T.V. mini-series, Make Some Noise. The original track addresses
the apathy that most 16-24 year old young people have towards voting. Jair uses his
gritty, metaphor-laden delivery to inspire his community to be educated about
politics and get involved in the voting process.
There's a lot of discussion about rap music and violence, its influence on young
people and even its relevance in society. Jair's personal story telling and his
lyrical ability showcase how authentic hardcore hip hop can still be relevant and
revolutionary while grabbing the attention of the real heads in search of witty
punch lines and grimy beats.
Hip Hop lovers, music fans and DJs need look no further for riot inciting beats and
rhymes than Jair Dynast. Spread the word!
