"Tekin’ yah time ain’t laziness” quotes Jair Dynast in a Barbadian twang referring to a saying his mother, Peta Graves, a former Miss Barbados and a contestant in the Miss World pageant often uses. Jair is talking about his patient and hard working attitude towards his career. The Bajan born rapper/producer immigrated to Canada some 19 years ago to a cold climate with equally cold streets that presented many short falls compared to the beautiful tropics. Refusing to be caught in the trap many of his friends fell victim to, the “One Whom God has Enlightened” fell in love with basketball.
